Lim, also a Myfm deejay, received an anonymous call from a person claiming to be from an artiste association.

He told Lim to leave the film industry or better be careful.

I do not know who made the call. He said I'm not capable of making a movie by just paying RM10 to the actors and actresses, Lim said.

He admitted that he gave just RM10 to some of the artistes in his film Ah Beng The Movie: Three Wishes, and even had an argument with an actor who made a cameo appearance over the pay.

He lodged a report at the Cheras police station in Kuala Lumpur on Thursday.

Lim said the Malaysian Artistes Association told him they did not make the call.
