CLAIM: Shrek Forcing Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt to Marry

This week, Star magazine leaps into the Angelina Jolie and Brad Pitt are totally planning a wedding fray with an article that claims the couple are planning on tying the knot at their French estate, Chteau Miraval, in the fall, and their brood is thrilled.

Maddox, their 10-year-old son, is supposedly the driving force behind the nuptials.

Hes finally getting his wish, and Brad and Angie want it to be everything he has hoped for, explains a so-called insider for the tabloid.

And why is little Maddox so intent on seeing a wedding?

Because he saw Shrek, says Star.

He thinks his mom is Princess Fiona and his dad is Shrek. Hes had it in his head since forever that they should be like Fiona and Shrek and tie the knot, explains the insider.

Uh-huh.

We had no idea Shreks impact on Maddox was all Jolie and Pitt needed to push them to get married after years of rumors.

Will Pitt have to paint himself green to capture the full effect? Will Jolie be voiced by Cameron Diaz during the ceremony?

Probably not, since this story is bogus.

As Gossip Cop has reported repeatedly, while Pitt and Jolie arent ruling out the possibility of marrying one day, they have absolutely no plans for a wedding, a source close to the couple tells us.

Star concludes its fairy tale by quoting their source as saying, The kids are all enjoying the process so much, theyve asked if they can have a wedding every month!

No, but the tabloids seem to enjoy it so much, we expect these wrong rumors to return almost every week.
