Nick Ashford of Ashford & Simpson Dies at 70

Nick Ashford of Ashford & Simpson has died.
The singer/songwriterhad been suffering from throat cancer.
Along with his wifeValerie Simpson, Ashford wrote such songs as Aint No Mountain High Enough, Youre All I Need to Get By andSolid.
He is survived by Simpson and two daughters.
Ashford was 70.
