Daryl Hannah Arrested Outside White House

Daryl Hannah was arrested outside the White House today.

The actress and about 100 other protesters were busted for participating i n a sit-in to oppose the planned Keystone XL oil pipeline, which would stretch from Montana to the Gulf Coast.

The protesters refused multiple orders by U.S. Park Police to move from the sidewalk.

Hannahs group wants President Obama to stop the pipeline, which opponents say will be environmentally catastrophic.

Stop the Keystone pipeline. No to the Keystone pipeline, Hannah reportedly shouted as she was being handcuffed.

The actress has been busted before for her environmental activism, including a 2009 arrest for protesting mountaintop removal in West Virginia.

More than 500 people have been arrested during the two-week civil disobedience on Pennsylvania Avenue organized in opposition to the oil pipeline.
