Official: Charlie Sheen and Warner Bros. Settle Over Two and a Half Men Firing

Charlie Sheen and Warner Bros. have settled the lawsuit related to his termination from Two and a Half Men.

Warner Bros. Television, Chuck Lorre and Charlie Sheen have resolved their dispute to the parties mutual satisfaction, reads the official statement.

It continues, The pending lawsuit and arbitration will be dismissed as to all parties. The parties have agreed to maintain confidentiality over the terms of the settlement.

As Gossip Cop reported last week, a deal between the two sides had been close.

Now its official.

Financial details of the agreement were not disclosed, but its believed Sheen will be paid roughly $25 million.

Sheen originally sought $100 million from executive producer Lorreand the studio behind the hit sitcom on which he starred for eight seasons.

The ninth season premiered to enormous ratings last Monday, with Ashton Kutcher joining the cast.
