Paws Up Forever Lady Gagas Fans Rise To Honor Jamey Rodemeyer [VIDEO]

Lady Gaga implored her Little Monsters to take up the cause of bullying victim Jamey Rodemeyer, and theyre delivering.

14-year-old Rodemeyer committed suicide last weekend, the latest gay teen to take his or her own life to escape social torture. Rodemeyers death was especially tragic since he had posted an It Gets Better YouTube video last May as part of that initiatives message of optimism and hope following a spate of gay teen suicides.

An emotional Gaga asked Twitter followers to honor Rodemeyers memory and fight to make extreme bullying a hate crime.

The past days Ive spent reflecting, crying, and yelling. I have so much anger. It is hard to feel love when cruelty takes someones life, she wrote.

Her millions of supporters are now responding.

The Paws Up Forever Project, a reference to the Gaga fan salute, has taken YouTube submissions from all over the world to spread the Make A Law For Jamey message.

One of the contributors sums up the plea: If you kill yourself today, youll never know what might have happened tomorrow.
