Jay Cutler Confirms Kristin Cavallari Split, Defends Ex on Facebook

Jay Cutler has confirmed that he and Kristin Cavallari called off their engagement.

The Chicago Bears quarterback changed his Facebook status to single, and updated his profile picture to a shot of him and his sister, replacing the previous photo of him with Cavallari.

However, just because Cutler is no longer with the reality star, it doesnt mean hell allow anyone to speak ill of her.

The NFL star wrote on his page, Thank you all for the support, but if you talk bad about Kristin I will delete and block you. Its unnecessary and heartless.

Cutler added, Also, dont say now I can play football, I could play football when I had her compared to when I dont. Football is the least of my worries, so have some respect.

Cavallari has remained mum on the split, other than thanking fans for their support via Twitter.

Sources say it was Cutler who called off the engagement.
