Lady Gaga to Co-Host The View

Lady Gaga will join Barbara Walters, Whoopi Goldberg, Joy Behar, Elisabeth Hasselbeck and Sherri Shepherd as a co-host on The View on August 1, the shows executive producer Bill Geddie announced today.

The singer will sit with the other hosts and weigh in during two segments of Hot Topics.

Gaga will also perform her song, You and I.

Her appearance kicks off the last week of the hit talk shows 14th season.
