Is Harper Seven Beckham named after Selena Gomezs show, Wizards of Waverly Place? asks HollywoodLife, in another futile attempt to link random celebrities instead of doing actual reporting.

According to the silly site, sonsBrooklyn, Romeo and Cruz tried to convince David and Victoria to name the Beckham baby girl after their favorite TV show, and it worked!

Harper is the name of Jennifer Stones character on the popular Disney series Wizards of Waverly Place, explains the blog.

David supposedly was a huge fan of Biebers girlfriend Selena Gomezs hit show too, so he immediately took to the moniker.

So, did the couple really name their child after a TV show?

Absolutely NOT.

A source close to Victoria tells Gossip Cop that Harper is an old English name that shes always liked, and it has NOTHING to do with Wizards of Waverly Place, which is NOT the boys favorite TV show.
