Paul McCartney Weds Nancy Shevell

Paul McCartney andNancy Shevell are married!

The Beatle and his girlfriend, a New York businesswoman, arrived atLondons Old Marylebone Town Hall at 3:30 p.m. local time, where they then tied the knot in front of a select few, including Ringo Starr and Barbara Walters.

McCartney sported a blue suit, and the bride wore along-sleeved white gown with a white flower in her hair. Both outfits were designed by the singers designer daughter Stella McCartney.

The wedding ceremony is slated to be followed by a reception at McCartneys London home.

The couple got engaged in May.

McCartney was previously married to the lateLinda McCartney andHeather Mills, whom he officially divorced in 2008.

This is Shevells second marriage.

Interestingly, McCartney wed on what would have been bandmate John Lennons 71st birthday.
